Customer Review: Does what it's supposed to, but a little flimsy

I was looking to replace my very expensive "pro" waffle maker for a while but didn't want to spend that kind of money again (close to $100) just to have it break just after the warranty period. Enter Presto. First, the concept of flipping without all of the hoopla of the crank flip is simple and clever. I would agree with other reviewers that it would be nice if there was an automatic timer instead of the battery timer (which I haven't used). The machine browns fairly evenly on both sides and I do love that I can flip it back and forth for more browning.
My main complaint about this waffle maker is that the clip to hold the iron part upright is so flimsy, it snaps into place and then as soon as something bumps it, the little red clip 'gives way' to the iron and it falls over to one side or the other. This seems to be a simple design flaw that will likely be remedied when they go back to the drawing board. For the price, I'm happy with my purchase.
