I have used my salad shooter so far for shredding carrots and zucchini for recipes, and for slicing potatoes and zucchini. There are many uses I haven't gotten around to trying yet. It is simple and convenient to use and clean. Would recommend it for anyone who does home cooking and recipes from scratch.Customer Review: WOW! THIS IS FUN

WHAT A GREAT GADGET. I USE THIS FOR SALADS, AND SLICING POTATOES FOR AU GRATIN, AND ZUCCHINI FOR ZUCCHINI BREAD, AND CUCUMBERS FOR A GREAT SUMMER SALAD! I DIDN'T THINK I'D LIKE IT THIS MUCH, BUT I DO!!!

I can grate a brick of cheese and save it in tupper ware in about 2 minutes. Then all week it's ready for quesadilla's, chilli, or anything else we need it for. It's not any harder to clean than a normal cheese grater (just don't put it in the bottom rack of the dishwasher, it may warp).Customer Review: Presto 02910 SaladShooter

Convenient, easy to use and clean. Great for shredding ingredients for salads and fried rice without having to lug out the food processesor. Some pieces are left over in the shredder, but they can easily be hand-cut. This is true for food processors as well, so I'm not bothered by this.
