The first salad shooter I bought lasted about 15 years before it finally quit--and it saw a LOT of use.
I immediately had it replaced.
I am not a huge gadget nut,but this one is as essential to me as a toaster or a mixer.
Every kitchen should have one!

I received one of these for Christmas and loved it so much I bought one for my niece's wedding gift. It works well to add carrots, or radishes to a salad even for just two of us and is easy to clean. It works better for cheese than any other grater I have used.Customer Review: So Easy to Use!

I bought this item because I frequently grate parmasan cheese and I was tired of grating it by hand. This electric Salad Shooter is wonderful. It takes about 3 seconds to grate what I need and easy to clean. After researching other websites the price as usual, was lower than anywhere else. Love Amazon.com!!
